My experience with Taylor fence was perfect. They sent a rep to my home, he was very professional and knowledgeable. The fence he suggested was different than what I had in mind and now that's it's installed im happy I took his advice. The installers showed up right on time, explained what they would do, how long it would take and that's exactly what happened. I would definitely recommend.

My family has chosen Taylor for at least 25 years. While neighbor’s fences sag, unlevel or fall apart and mess up the neighborhood aesthetic, our Taylor fences are almost like new decades later (through storms, snow and all types of NJ conditions). Gene and team are, again, the best - thoughtful and experienced. Highly recommend! You will be pleased, for the long term.

Had Taylor Fence install a black wrought iron fence with gate on our front porch for our ‘escape artist’ dog. We wanted 3ft height, which needed to be special ordered. The installer did a GREAT job and our new fence, installed to serve a purpose, turned out to do that, PLUS enhance the ‘curb appeal’ of our house. The whole process, from in-person measuring by Taylor rep, to installation was very professional. AND, their price quote was 40% less than another small, local fencing co. We’re THRILLED with the look and experience of dealing Taylor. THANKS, Taylor!!

If you are looking for a fence company that not only does a great job, but stands by their work, definitely look elsewhere. We had 300’ of solid wood fence installed in 2014, by 2018 a couple of the sections were starting to lean. This past year, a couple of the fence panels had fallen over and that’s where I discovered they were improperly installed. For a 6’ high solid wood fence, you are supposed to have 9’ pressure treated 4x4s supporting them; and that’s what we paid for. What I found out after the panels fell was that there are multiple posts that are much less than the required 9’. On 1 panel, the post was only 11" into the ground (see pic below) meaning they cut off over 2 feet of what they said was absolutely necessary to support these panels. At this point there are multiple sections that are leaning over and need the posts replaced correctly. I called Taylor fence this past summer and they sent someone out to inspect the fence. The person they sent out agreed that that the fence posts were not properly installed and was the cause of the fence failure. It was noted that the posts were likely cut due to roots but that the install was not properly done. He also noted that a cedar fence should not be directly in contact with the ground; well at least half of my fence is on the ground and there is noticeable rot. After a few weeks, the same person came back to my house to tell me that he was told by the company (Taylors) that the panels/posts were properly installed. A short time later I get an estimate of $540 for replacing 1 fence panel and 3 posts. At the time of this review I have discovered 2 more fence posts that are only standing because they are being supported inline with the rest of the fence. For a fence that is supposed to last at least 20 years (according to them), I'll be lucky to get 10.

We purchased 5' cedar fence from Taylor in May of 2021. Our previous fence from another company who no longer sells wood fences lasted 15 years. When Taylor installed the fence I complained about the quality of many of sections, boards, crossbeams. They would only replace 2 sections and about 5 other boards. Our fence is now 2 years old and has warped sections, split pieces, sections that have popped off the posts etc. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEIR PRODUCTS ARE INFERIOR and they don't stand by their work. This fence certainly won't last 10 years. Sad.
